You want names?

Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Who are these people who agree with everything he says and does?

The Kronic 12:25 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Or of course agree with everything the chubster says or does, like the majority of his apologists.

Nicely left out.

There is no middle ground Danny. You either disagree with everything the manager says and does, or you are an Angel.

Take your side.

Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
You never know there could be a middle ground here

Some players take longer to settle than others

Some managers are better at settling players into team

Some posters could have a discussion in a gentlemanly manner instead of hurling anonymous abuse

If the manager upsets you that much do something about it

I've become rather apathetic to it all

For what it's worth I think we will win tomorrow night

Haha! Ive heard that one before too Polite, son!

Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
It's not an excuse is it? He is building for the future and it takes time. He has already told us that this is year three and this is what happens in year 3.

Baggins

The championship is a difficult league when others see you as a big scalp?

Baggins 12:00 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Oh look, this seasons excuse is 'new players'. Last season was 'injuries' and Andy Carroll. Season before was because we had just come up.

I wonder what it will be next season.

Sandon SandIRON 11:56 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Spot on. He makes it very clear that the season is 38 games so it's a long road which allows him the time to bed in players.

I think people think playe else can just come from another league and hit the ground running in the Barclays premierleague. It takes time!

The Kronic 11:56 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Possibly because everything he comes out with is blatant defeatism or just plain daft. Still, don't blame the man, blame the question. Or the fans. Or the players....same old bollocks from the fat man's supporters.

Mr Polite 11:55 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
I read the opening post and understood the point being made - but because of who posted it I decided to keep reading all the replies - I'm assuming from OMMs comment that this became a pathetic thread digging a poster out rather than discussing the valid point made by him.

The funny thing is the people replying honestly think it is people like Nicey ruining this site when really it is them.

Iron Duke 11:52 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
No different to people slagging off BFS rather than taking his comments in context.

Allardyce was answering a question which originated from Hull having to bed in new players. Whatever he says these days you get the same posters moaning about him. It's a bit boring now.

stirlinghammer 11:50 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Agree with sven
Saints have had near 90 mill of first team talent ripped out of them and installed a new overseas manager with no experience of management in the premiership.

BFS is obviously planning on 17th position and he really should just shut up and get on with this minor goal. I mean, its not like he has to make up excuses as we are competing against teams for a top 4 place is it ?

Top 4 excuses for a 17th position target. Fck off sam.

ooooh Morley Morley 11:42 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
People arguing the poster instead of the post shocker.

The opening post has a point, we have new signings but so does every other team. Why do we sign players who need to settle.?

Sven Roeder 11:32 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
I know it's been mentioned but someone should question him on Southampton.
In a worse position as it's a NEW manager faced with Lambert, Shaw, Lallana & Lovren (& others ...Ramirez etc) going out the door & with half a new team they have slaughtered Newcastle & us and should have won at Anfield.
It's all bullshit & more excuses. As usual

Livingstone 11:23 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Southampton had four new non-English signings in their team yesterday, they dont seem to have this integrating new signings syndrome.

terry-h 11:21 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
If Sullivan agrees with all the shit coming out of his manager's mouth, we are in for a possibly worse season than last. If we manage to survive, then we can move on to a better future under new leadership. But nine more months of this prick is very hard to stomach tbh.

motley crue 10:26 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
I thought he kept saying no glory in playing well but losing.

Funny that, cos all he's done since start of season is go on about
glorified defeats to spuds and sheff utd.

The fat fuck.

The Kronic 10:26 Sun Sep 14
Re: Allardyce pleads for patience
Same old negative defeatist bollocks from the gutless fat wanker - getting his excuses in yet again on the eve of the game.
